Undying Love (part 2)

I got the picture in the courtesy of http://ph.yahoo.com/
It has been a month since he asked me to marry him, and it still feels as if it was just a dream. A dream I don't want to wake up to. We've been going from places to places planning our wedding. I think it's kinda cheezy, you know; what we're, doing but it really makes me happy spending more time with him. What's better is I'll soon be with him forever. We went to our parents house two days after he proposed to me. First to my parent's home. We spent the day chitchatting with my parents. They were so glad that they even said "Our daughter is finally getting married! We have been waiting years for this day to come!" I never knew that my parents had been praying for me to finally settle down with him. They said that they knew that I'd end up being married to him, that they saw this day coming since we were little. He and I grew up together. He was three years older than me but our age differences didn't matter when we realized we were in love with each other. After eating dinner and some small talk we bid our farewell's and left. We then went straight to his parents place which was a plane ride away. We went to the airport and as we got there they announced that we only have five more minutes until our plane departs. Fortunately we arrived the plane with two more minutes to spare. We buckled up and we were ready for the plane to depart. I then fell asleep with my head on his shoulders. We arrived at Seattle after the three hour flight. We had his brother pick us up from the airport and to their house. Upon arrival I immediately saw his parents standing by their gate waiting for us to get off the van. They were excited for both me and my fiance. We spent the night at their place, his mother wanted to have a bonding session with me. And it didn't go the way it did in movies where the bride is threatened by the grooms mother for her to cancel the wedding, in fact we had fun talking to each other until day break. We talked about how he grew up. She even showed me pictures of him when he was still in preschool until his college days, though he only had a few pictures of him when he was in college. He wasn't exactly the coolest guy in the university but he was most definitely the best guy for me. She then showed me a few pictures of him with his exes telling me I am his best catch after fishing for numerous bad catches. I am his best catch. And he was mine. Things were finally settled. We left after breakfast and returned to our home. We made plans and fixed our schedules for the next two months for our wedding planning and decision making. We had to do it or else we wouldn't have had time for either our careers or our wedding preparations. To be continued...
